Okay, so the new year didn't start so well, but in my defense, I was out all day yesterday and have no Internet to speak of in my house... But I did write, I just did not post, so instead, you get two updates today! Huzzah!! So here we go, carrying on with the still untitled piece. Any comments or title ideas will always be appreciated.
Cassie had no idea what was happening. Everyone around her was looking at her aghast, some with their hands over their mouths, children crying out of confusion. She felt confused and worried herself, looking herself over to see if something was wrong. There was. She was covered in blood and carrying a kitchen knife. She screamed and continued to panic, looking frantically to see where the blood had come from. People backed away, afraid that she might lash out at them. At her feet to her side, she finally noticed. There lay the body of her fiancee, Steve, tattered and slashed and covered with blood, dead. She dropped to her knees, the knife clattering to the floor. Her face felt warm as tears began to cascade over her reddening cheeks. She cradled her still warm, still dead fiancee in her arms, blood still seeping from the wounds which she could only assume that she'd inflicted. "Step away from the body and stand slowly, putting your hands on your head please Ma'am!" Cassie flinched. She looked up and saw two police officers with their pistols aimed at her. She sniffed and wiped her face, but more tears soon came to replace those she'd removed. She stood, shaky on her feet and trembling as she raised her hands to rest upon her auburn hair. One of the officers moved to place her in handcuffs before marching her to their car and pushing her onto the back seat. She looked out of the window, bleary eyed from her crying, still shocked by what she'd seen, what she thought she'd done, all of the people just staring at here. That woman. There was a woman in the crowd, she looked so familiar. Her flowing straw blonde hair styled in ringlets, resting on her shoulders. That elegant off the shoulder silver dress accentuating her form, those piercing green eyes and that smirk; that twisted, sinister smirk, judging her, as though she'd won. Cassie realised where she'd seen this woman before. She was at the club...
Stay tuned for today's next update! Who is this mystery woman? Why does she want these people dead? What's so special about Tyler and Cassie? What the hell am I going to call this story?!?!
Adios for now, and God bless,
Craiggy.
